Happy International Women's Day!

Hello all! Welcome back, as you saw by the title today is International Women's Day! Can we get a round of applause, thank you, thank you.

Even though we can always continue to grow, our world has come a long way in the last century. And without all these incredible women of history, we wouldn't have the laws we do today. I am so grateful to be living my life freely, and I feel for the women that didn't get that opportunity. We are capable of doing anything we set our minds to do, no matter what our gender or race is. The accomplishments that these women have done have changed how we not only see the world, but also how we live it. So I encourage you to pick up a book and read about it, because it can really change your perspective. And plus, books about empowered women are so interesting, and motivational for what we can do in this generation. Women are still being mistreated and underestimated to this day, but that should not stop us from living our lives the way we choose to. I mean, without us the population wouldn't even continue to grow.

Here's a quote that I found today that seems very fitting, in this instance. And it's from one of my favorite artists 😉

Women can do anything.

I hope you all have an amazing Wednesday, now go out there and change the world!

Love,

Your Feminist Friend,
Hailey

  1. This was a great post, Hailey! I totally agree with everything you said. :) I just can't believe that we're living in the 21st Century and many people (women especially) still have to fight for their rights and freedoms. Why can't we just live and let live?

    1. I totally agree, Hividah. I find it hard to believe women rights is still something we're working on. We should be past that by now, right?
