My Top 10 Christmas Songs of 2022!

Hello everyone! Welcome back! So I really enjoyed doing this post 15 SONGS THAT HAVE BEEN LIVING IN MY BRAIN RENT FREE FOR THE LONGEST TIME! back in August, so I thought why not do another one! But make it Christmas ;) Because the holidays are THE BEST time of year <3 And I will fight you if you don't agree (just kidding πŸ˜…)  Also I ranked these in order of least favorite (10) to favorite (1) It was seriously, so hard to pick only ten songs, because I LOVE so many Christmas songs! Anyway! Without further ado, let's get started :)

#10: Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! by Frank Sinatra

This is the song you pop on when you really just want some snow during your holiday season! And trust me I do it too πŸ˜… Where me and my family used to live, we would never (ever) get snow, but now we do, just not a whole lot in December :( But! One time we did get a white Christmas! (oops, sorry, wrong song)
I really love this one <3 It's a classic and very timeless. It gets you into the Christmas, but! It's also a song that you can (technically) play other times of the year! Without it being too obvious you're playing a Christmas song.

#9: Little Drummer Boy by Michele McLaughlin

I'm not a huge fan of the original, but! I found this incredible instrumental version and now I seriously cannot stop listening to it! It's a perfect song to play if you want to cozy up by the fire with a warm drink, and just be peaceful :) And it's also very soothing and cheerful at the same time <3 I would highly recommend you listen to this song! Since it's not as well known as some of the others

#8: Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town by Bruce Springsteen

Ah, this song brings back so many good childhood memories <3 My Dad plays this song a lot during the holidays, and I've always heard it growing up. I just started listening to it a lot recently, manly because it's nostalgic for me (even though I was born more than two decades after this song was released πŸ˜…) I still love this song to this day, and it's very fun to listen to on a drive back home, when you really just need some silly Christmas cheer!

#7: That's Christmas To Me by Pentatonix

More of a recent release (compared to the others) but still amazing! Pentatonix is such an incredibly talented group, and their Christmas albums are always really fun! Although, I haven't been loving their most recent Christmas album. Not that it's bad, it's just not my favorite 🀷 But this one of my favorite holiday songs, of theirs, ever! It really tells you the true meaning of Christmas, and what makes it so special, and as always, their voices sound so amazing <3 It's the perfect song for any holiday occasion!

#6: Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home) by U2

My twin sister has always been obsessed with this song! To the point that I got tired of it πŸ˜… Luckily she doesn't play it nearly as much anymore! So I can enjoy it <3 It's an old song, but still a very, very good one! Bono has such an amazing, soothing voice, and the band works really well together to make good music, and for once, as far as I know, had any band drama! And have stuck together for over 40 years! Which is just incredible! This song certainly gets you crazy with Christmas cheer <3 But also gets you very hyped (even though the lyrics are very sad) because, come on, what rock song doesn't get you excited and hyper? It's a really great song, and I highly recommend you give it a listen ;)

#5: Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee

Another classic! This song just screams Christmas cheer! And it's been one of my favorite Christmas songs for a long while, now. It's one of those songs that you could listen to over and over again, during the holidays, and never get sick of! At least in my opinion :) I  like several versions of this song, but this one is definitely my favorite <3 Can't go wrong with the original, right? I remember dancing around our tree, to this song, with my sisters :) I love those guys ❤

#4: Somewhere In My Memory by John Williams (cover: Mark Lloyd Music)

I originally found a version on Spotify, called Somewhere In My Memory - from 'Home Alone' by Elliott Jaques. But I couldn't find it on YouTube, so I found this one! And I like it just as much <3 I love the original one (with the choir) too, but sometimes choir music (especially with kids) annoys me, so I prefer instrumental. Is anyone else like that? Or am I just weird? πŸ˜… Anyway! This song is another good relaxing Christmas song, and it makes me very excited for Christmas day, for whatever reason 🀷

#3: Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas by Frank Sinatra

Now this one, this one is really a classic! And very good too! It's one of my favorites <3 And it's a good in between song, for when you're not feeling, particularly like listening to a relaxing or upbeat Christmas song. It's perfect! Because it's just right in the middle :) Most people say that Mariah Carey is the queen of Christmas, but honestly, it might be Frank Sinatra! I mean think of all the classic Christmas songs we can think of, he's probably done, originally!

#2: Angels We Have Heard On High by The Piano Guys

This one is so good!!! I love how upbeat and jolly it is without being too much, you know? I could be wrong, but I feel like The Piano Guys are not as well known as they should be! They sure make some incredible music, and this is probably my favorite of their Christmas songs <3 It's really, really, really good! Go on! Give it a listen ;)

#1: Believe by Josh Groban

Are you surprised? Probably not if you saw this post Believe - Lyrical Photoshoot on my other blog ;) Every time me and my family watch The Polar Express (which we do every Christmas Eve) I always wonder what the song at the end credits is! And where I can listen to it! So I finally found it! And now I CAN NOT stop listening to it <3 Every time I open up my Spotify Christmas playlist, I pick this song first :) I'm a bit worried that I'm going to be sick of it by the time Christmas comes πŸ˜…

And that is the end of my list! What do you think? Do you like any of these songs? What would your list look like? I'm curious! I hope you guys have a wonderful rest of your Wednesday <3 And let me know what other holiday posts you would like me to do! Bye, for now ❤
