15 Songs That Have Been Living In My Brain Rent Free For The Longest Time!

 

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't posted for SO long! I explained all that on my other blog Hailey's Joyful Dolls Sorry that you guys are always last to find out about all the updates and stuff like that 😅 So if you're ever wondering why I'm not posting, you should probably check my other blog. So yeah! Let's get started with this list, shall we? 

#15 - Stand Tall by Julie and the Phantoms Cast

Now as you guys probably already know I LOVE Julie and the Phantoms! It's one of my favorite TV shows and the music is INCREDIBLE 💜 Stand Tall is one of my favorite songs from the show. Anytime I'm feeling down I listen to JATP songs and I always seem to somehow end up playing this one 😅 Which JATP song is your favorite?

#14 - Once Upon A Time/Storybook Love by Mark Knopfler 

I rewatched this movie recently and I remembered how much I loved this song! The whole movie has such a great soundtrack but I think this one is my favorite. If I'm having trouble sleeping I will put this song on because it's very relaxing ❤ Do you have a favorite song from The Princess Bride?

#13 - Take on Me by a-ha

Now as most of you guys know I'm obsessed with the 80's ❤ Which partly might have to do with the fact that my parents grew up in the 80's and so we (me and my siblings) grew up with bands like Queen, Van Halen, Journey, Guns N' Roses, Wham!, Prince, Bon Jovi and lots more. Also STRANGER THINGS! But I think I've always just loved everything about it! This is one of my favorite 80's songs (it's a long list) And the music video is VERY cool and quite impressive for the time. 

#12 - Unsaid Emily by Julie and the Phantoms Cast

yep, you guessed it another JATP song. Oh my gosh this song makes me cry a LOT 😭 Watching Luke cry is just so heartbreaking 💔 But this song is so amazing! The lyrics always get stuck in my head 😅 If you haven't listened to this song already you MUST! And while you're at it you might as well listen to ALL the rest of the songs from JATP. 

#11 - In The Stars by Benson Bonne 

THIS SONG IS SO SAD 😭 But so good! So it's definitely worth listening to. And once you listen to it I'm sure you won't be able to stop listening to it. Also it's in like EVERY Stranger Things sad edit! 

#10 - 18 by One Direction 

In case you guys didn't know I LOVE One Direction! I've been OBSESSED with them for probably about a year now? I know I'm very very very late for the 'trend' But I don't really care because I LOVE THEM SO SO MUCH ❤ Anyway 18 is one of my favorite One Direction songs but then again I love pretty much all of them! But Story of My Life is probably my favorite? What's your favorite One Direction song?

#9 - Don't You (Forget About Me) by Simple Minds

Now this song, I think? Has gotten pretty popular again. I believe people were using the sound on TikTok similarly to the trend with Material Girl (yet another great 80's song) But anyway I remember hearing it when I watched Breakfast Club for the first time a few years ago. And then I started listening to it again a little while ago and I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO IT ❤ Also if any of you know the band U2. Does anyone else think that the song kinda sounds like it should be a U2 song? Like his voice and how deep it is and the beginning especially. Just me? Okay.

#8 - Sweet Creature by Harry Styles

I'm sure you're not surprised to hear that I'm also obsessed with Harry Styles ❤ Cause I'm just so trendy and cool. Jk I'm totally not trendy or cool at all 😅 I really LOVE this song! It's so emotional and it high key sometimes makes me cry 🥺 Also I think his first album is my favorite 💕 But I love them all!!! He's so freaking talented! What's your favorite Harry Styles song? #7 - Every Breath You Take by The Police

Yet another popular 80's song! I really love this song ❤ I feel like at the time it was a big romance song, but if you really listen to the the lyrics. It's a REALLY creepy song! Whenever I play this song my twin sister always sings 🎶I'll be stalking you🎶 instead of "I'll be watching you" Yeah so, she's always making fun of me for picking this song, but it's SO GOOD! Even if the message is bad 😅

#6 - Through The Dark by One Direction

Another AMAZING 1D song ❤ I don't know why but this song I've always found so inspiring! Sometimes it makes me cry 😔 But then again I feel like I say that for almost every song 😅 Because I get emotional very easily. I feel like most people would agree that Midnight Memories is the BEST 1D album and I agree! But they're all amazing! What do you think?

#5 - Falling by Harry Styles

THIS ONE IS SO SAD 😭 I remember one night I couldn't sleep so apparently I thought it was a good idea to listen to this song 💔 And I was very emotional that day (and also very tired) and I was crying (as quietly as could) I was thinking, my poor baby 😭 I just felt so bad for him! Anyway please tell me I'm not the only one who's like this 😅 Do you like this song?

#4 - Walking in the Wind by One Direction

I really love this one ❤ (as I do all of these songs) This one has a really good message and just makes you have some hope for this world 😊 Gosh I love 1D so much! One of the things I actually like about being a teenage is that I'm passionate about EVERYTHING! Is that weird? Do you like this song?

#3 - Bright by Julie and the Phantoms Cast

I love this song ❤ For whatever reason it's very motivational for me. I don't know Julie and the Phantoms is very comforting for me. Which is why the fact that it got CANCELLED even worse 😭💔 I LOVE JATP 💜💜💜 What's your favorite JATP song?

Ah this song is just chef's kiss ❤ IT'S SO GOOD 😍 This one is one of my favorites! All his songs are so good! He's an incredible singer and songwriter 💕 All the songs give you the feels 🥺 Do you like this song?

#1 - Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush 

I feel like this song has been on repeat for everyone right now! All thanks to Stranger Things ❤ As far as I know Kate Bush wasn't very popular back in the day. But she has an incredible voice! And her music is very fitting for this day and age but also for the 80's. How did she do that? I pretty sure I don't need to recommend this song considering everyone has heard it 😅 What do you guys think of Kate Bush?
