Come to Hamilton with Me! - Day 1

 

Hello everyone! So I know I haven't posted on here or on my other blog: Hailey's Joyful Dolls in a while, and the reason behind that is because on the 20th we went to go see Hamilton!!! Which is so exciting!!! We got back on the 21st (which was Monday) and we had the rest of that week off of school so I decided to take a little break for that week. So yeah that's why I've been gone for so long. Anyway now that we've got that out of the way let me show you how it went!

The car ride to the hotel (which is near the theater) was about 2 to 3 hours which is quite long so yeah

I manly spent my time listening to Relax! with Colleen and Erik. They're podcast is so good! I highly recommend it!!! 

I also listened to some music ❤🎵 I used to watch lots of TV during car rides but I get really bad headaches on car rides and watching a screen definitely doesn't help. So if any of you get bad headaches or get car sick I recommend not looking at a screen much and wearing sunglasses 😎

 It was about 4:00 when we got to the hotel so me and my siblings listened to Bailey Sarian and played Animal Crossing while our Dad went to get IHop for dinner 💖

I got showered and dressed for the show! I added a jean jacket later, but let me know what you guys think of my outfit down in the comments. I didn't want to be to fancy but I also didn't want to be to casual. What do we think?

So after our dinner we got to the theater which is partially outside, there's lots of different musicals all in this on center! which is really cool :)

We got there at about 6:30 because we thought that we could visit the gift shop before the show (which started at 8:00) but turns out the one theater that was playing Hamilton opened at 7:00 so we had to wait a while, so we climbed up to the very top of the parking garage. That's were we took all the pictures :)

Unfortunately I could not film or take pictures inside the show! But it was so amazing!!! All the actors were so good! Especially Aaron Burr and Eliza! It wasn't the original cast but they all still did such an incredible job! And I am so glad that this was my first musical I've ever been to :) The next part will be of our trip home :) I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know down in the comments if you have ever been to Hamilton or just any musical!
