Two Idjits Try ASMR for the First Time
Hello everyone! Welcome back :) I hope you're doing well ❤ I actually meant to post this video last week but it took me a long while to edit it, especially since I had about an hour worth of footage to trim down but I think it turned out quite good.
Anytime I film with Tony we always get super hyper, but it's fun, so I guess that's what really matters.
Also, quick disclaimer! This video is in no way, shape or form, making fun of people who like ASMR. If you enjoy it and it helps you relax then that's amazing! Me and Tony just thought that it would make for an entertaining video considering we both dislike it, and that others do too. So it will hopefully be relatable to some people.
I really only enjoy nature sounds, like rain, or even soft music. Mainly the thing I dislike, when it comes to ASMR, is the weird whispering because it always reminds me of horror movies. And Tony...well it's pretty safe to say that she hates any kind of ASMR. As she has said, multiple times. So if this video offends you than I am truly very sorry, but I promise this was made strictly for entertainment purposes only.

Oh god, the whispering was torture! 😣 It was such a strange feeling, like someone was grabbing my neck with their hand! *shudders* Otherwise, the other sounds didn't really affect me. Perhaps because I'm already exposed daily to sounds like zippers and plastic? Either way, I didn't find it too pleasing, especially the slicer game sounds...!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you taking the time to make this video though! I totally understand how editing videos can be a long, tiring project (but still fun). I didn't really know what ASMR was until this, so I learned something new! I'm with you guys on not being a fan of it. I do love nature sounds though. 🙃 Also, I got the Supernatural references. 😉

This video was SO funny! I'm with you guys on not really liking ASMR [except for the finger tapping sound. I like that one]. I got ALL of the Supernatural references-----including the title!
