My Twin Sister Describes the Plot for Halloween Movies...She's Never Seen Before!

Hi everyone! Welcome back :) Long time no see! Sorry I haven't posted in two weeks. I've just been SO busy lately. An-y-way! I'm so excited for this blog post <3 So today, as the title says, my twin sister will be writing her own plot summaries for Halloween movies she's never seen before! Not meaning to toot my own horn or anything, b-u-t...come on this has to be one of my best blog post ideas (for this blog) ever! I give you full permission to steal this idea if you would like to do it for your blog or YouTube channel! Just as long as you give me full credit *giggles* I'm in a very weird mood today 😅

Okay so, I made a list of ten different Halloween movies, some horror, some family friendly. These are all movies that neither me or my sister have seen before so I did have to do some research. Also I did let her see the movie poster and told her one or two of the main characters. BUT THAT'S IT! I let her creative mind come up with whatever crazy stories she wanted too 😊 So yeah, I hope you all enjoy!

 

#1: Coraline (2009)

Real Plot Summary (that I wrote with the notes I took from Wikipedia/Google's plot) : 

An eleven-year old girl named Coraline, discovers a hidden door that leads into an alternate world. But she never expected her parallel family to try and keep her there FOREVER! What secrets will she find? And how will she escape?!

My Twin Sister ("Tony") 's Plot Summary:  Editor (me): This one's my favorite 💜

Back in 2009, Coraline discovered a dark secret in her family’s home that three ghosts named Luke, Reggie and Alex are haunting them. But why? Because they have unfinished business involving their rival 90’s rock band entitled The Chads who poisoned their street dogs. Now Coraline must help them track down their murderers and get some good old fashioned revenge. 

#2: It (2017)

Real Plot Summary (that I wrote with the notes I took from Wikipedia/Google's plot) : 

An evil lurks in the dark, dark sewer who attempts to antagonize, scare, and even kill, the small town's children, every 27 years! One fateful summer they all decide to band together and stop this creature for harming anymore innocent lives.

My Twin Sister ("Tony")'s Plot Summary:

 Pennywise is a supposedly evil shape shifting clown who never expected to fall in love, let alone with a human. A tale of romance between a barista named Frank and Pennywise, a group of evil dolls determined to bring the couple down, judgy family members and awesome music. New Line Cinema proudly presents, It: Love For A Clown.  

#3: Casper (1995)

Real Plot Summary (that I wrote with the notes I took from Wikipedia/Google's plot) : 

When a teen girl named Kat and her father go to investigate an old mansion in Maine. They meet a young, friendly ghost named Casper! Little did Kat know she would fall in love with someone so unreal to the naked eye.

My Twin Sister ("Tony") 's Plot Summary:

 Everyone thinks Casper is a friendly ghost but they’re wrong. Casper is actually a demented ghost who is determined to kill anyone who crosses his path in the most gruesome ways possible. But why? Because Casper is really the evil inside the Overlook Hotel who is set on destroying two people and anyone who gets in the way is just a casualty. Casper knows he must kill the only two people who could take him down are Danny DeVito and Harry Styles. Amblin Entertainment and The Harvey Entertainment Company present Casper: The True Story Of A “Friendly” Ghost. 

#4: Halloweentown (1998)

Real Plot Summary (that I wrote with the notes I took from Wikipedia/Google's plot) : 

When a young girl, Marnie, follows her Grandma to a spooky place, Halloweentown! Later, she comes to find out she comes from a family of witches! But now she must fight an evil trying to destroy the world!

My Twin Sister ("Tony") 's Plot Summary:

 Marnie Piper is just your average small town girl, nothing special. But her life takes a deadly turn when it turns out that there is a deadly serial killer stalking the streets of her town with his eyes set on a target. And that target is Marnie. Marnie must learn how to become a stereotypical Final Girl in order to survive the deadly serial killer who will kill, in utterly campy ways, anyone who tries to stop him from getting Marnie or anyone who just happens to be in his way. A classic slasher that will be rebooted approximately 7,000 times. Halloweentown: Death is Coming. Only on Disney Channel. 

#5: Halloween (1978)

Real Plot Summary (that I wrote with the notes I took from Wikipedia/Google's plot) : 

On a dark and scary night, in 1963. A young boy named, Micheal Myers kills his older sister, and was sentenced to 15 years in prison! But a day before Halloween, 1978 he escapes! And hunts the town he once called home, for his next innocent victims!

My Twin Sister ("Tony") 's Plot Summary: 

Laurie Strode never thought she could find love after the messy divorce between her parents left her scarred but she did. She was a classic unhappy successful business woman with work being the only thing on her mind but then when she was visiting her Aunt Chelsea in a stereotypical small town, she met him. The misunderstood man named Michael Meyers. This is  a tale of devoted love, bad writing, on the nose messages and cliche tropes.This is Halloween. 

#6: The Conjuring (2013)

Real Plot Summary (that I wrote with the notes I took from Wikipedia/Google's plot) : It was the year 1970, when the Perron family moved into a their new house. As the days go by they get terrorized by a supernatural being. So brutally that they decide to hire two paranormal investigators,to help destroy this evil entity!

My Twin Sister ("Tony") 's Plot Summary: 

Bathsheba is your typical angsty teen who is mad that his Mom insists he go to a summer camp to make friends. When he gets there though he ends up meeting a seemingly nice girl Lorraine and thinks he’s finally made a friend who could possibly be more. But then it happened…. Lorraine told him it was just a prank and humiliated him in front of everyone. Now he must enact his revenge with the help of another boy who has been shunned named Ed. The Conjuring: A Loser’s Revenge. 

#7: Child's Play (1988)

Real Plot Summary (that I wrote with the notes I took from Wikipedia/Google's plot) : 

When a murderer is on the brink of death, he uses black magic to trap his soul inside an innocent doll named Chucky! Some time after, a young boy named Andy receives the doll as a gift from his mother, and later discovers the horrors of Chucky and must destroy him before he harms anyone else.

My Twin Sister ("Tony") 's Plot Summary:

 Andy used to be a good kid. He used to get straight A’s, he used to help with the chores, he used to be…human. Before Chucky. This is the heartbreaking tale of a boy whose mother must fight to save him from the hold that Chucky has on him, but wait..is this really about a toy or is this just Andy’s drugs talking? Find the answer to that question by watching Child’s Play: Don’t Do Drugs Kids.

#8: A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984)

Real Plot Summary (that I wrote with the notes I took from Wikipedia/Google's plot) : 

A horrifying creature by the name of Freddie Krueger, terrorizes teenagers by hunting them in their dreams and ultimately killing them in real life! But when two teens in love, Nancy and Glen, start to unravel the mystery and help other innocent lives...Can they save everyone, including themselves, in time?

My Twin Sister ("Tony") 's Plot Summary: 

Freddie Kruger is having issues with his job as an author. He just can’t figure out what to write about because his fiance, who had been a source of inspiration, had left him because he was ‘too unstable’. When Freddie Kruger snaps, all hell breaks loose, no one is safe expect for his ex fiance Jeremy Styles, the unfamous brother of Harry Styles, who must stop him before he murders Jeremy’s new girlfriend Nancy and her conniving brother Glen. See it all in New Line Cinema’s new classic, A Nightmare On Elm Street: Love Is Unstoppable Even if Nancy and Glen Try. 

#9: Corpse Bride (2005)

Real Plot Summary (that I wrote with the notes I took from Wikipedia/Google's plot) : 

Victor and Victoria's families have forced them to get married! But one day, Victor finds himself in a forest that's dragging him down into the land of the dead, where he meets Emily who was murdered before her wedding day. But soon after, she realizes she wants to marry Victor! But he must get back to the world above before Victoria marries the horrible Barkis Bittern.

My Twin Sister ("Tony") 's Plot Summary:

 Victor is a struggling actor who dreams of playing the lead role in Austin Powers: The Musical. Emily is a strict director who says he’s not right for the part. Victor is heartbroken and determined to make everyone pay and prove himself as the only true Austin Powers. Be ready to laugh and scream because this campy horror movie is the best you’ve ever seen. With our clever writing, hilarious death scenes, bad accents, parody style acting and horrifying gore you will definitely enjoy Austin Powers: Death And Drama Behind The Scenes. 

#10: The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)

Real Plot Summary (that I wrote with the notes I took from Wikipedia/Google's plot) : When Jack Skellington gets bored of his life in Halloweentown he accidentally stumbles upon a magical place called Christmastown, and later decides to take over the cheery place, first by kidnapping Santa Clause!

My Twin Sister ("Tony") 's Plot Summary:

 Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, right? Well not in Denver, Colorado. A  killer always hunts their prey on December 12th, kidnaps them on the 21st and leaves them for Police to find on the 25th. And no one has ever been able to catch them. Until Jack came to town. The Nightmares Before Christmas, coming to theaters this Christmas. 

Well...what'd you think? I thought they were all hilarious 😂 Let me know if any of these Halloween movies are worth watching! Oh and by the way while we're on the topic of movies...What's your favorite Halloween movie?
